Concorso Italiano – A Celebration of Italian Style ™ is pleased to have forged a strategic partnership with Barrett–Jackson, and specifically the endorsed Collector Car Insurance Program. Barrett–Jackson has
recently endorsed their collector car insurance program for car enthusiasts and collectors worldwide. The insurance program will be well–received at Concorso Italiano, which is held on August 14th at the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch in Monterey California, as part of the Historic Car weekend.

Concorso Italiano is the largest all–Italian car show of its kind in the
world. While the focus is on the cars, it is also a celebration of Italian music, fashion, food & style.

New owner, Tom McDowell, is improving and rebuilding every aspect of the event, including the location, the activities, the car clubs and the
sponsors. Tom is excited to have forged the partnership with Barrett
–Jackson and is pleased to announce that this year’s edition will
include special guests and some anniversary celebrations.

2009 is the 50th anniversary of DeTomaso, the design company of the
world renowned Pantera, and Concorso will be celebrating with Tom
Tjaarda–the actual designer of this terrific machine. Also on hand will
be the Tjaarda Pantera Speciale and the Bertone designed BAT 11.

Concorso will also be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Ferrari
288GTO and plans to have the largest ever gathering of this Ferrari
supercar. Matteo and Luca Fioravanti of Fioravanti SRL, will represent
their father Leonardo, the designer of the 288GTO.

Other special guests include: Jay Leno, who will be presented with the
prestigious La Bella Macchina Award; Valentino Balboni, legendary
Lamborghini test driver; and Lilli Bertone and Michael Robinson of
Bertone Cento.

Barrett–Jackson encourages their friends to join in this celebration by
showing your car, showcasing your company through sponsorship, or
attending this terrific event. There will be food, fashion, music, wine
parings, but at the end of the day it is about the cars. Concorso
Italiano expects to have about 700–900 exotic Italian cars and another
