Concorso Italiano Celebrates
the Return of Pininfarina Wine
Pininfarina Wine is poised to return to the Concorso Italiano August 14, 2009, after its successful debut at last year’s event. Showcasing its cutting edge style, the 2005 Pininfarina Vino Rosso has been skillfully crafted to display the power and elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the world class region of the Napa Valley. Be sure to visit the Pininfarina Pavilion located in the center of the Concorso near the stage to taste samples of this extraordinary red wine created by Aaron Heck of Heck Estates in collaboration with Paolo Pininfarina. In addition to the Pininfarina Wine, Heck Estates will also be featuring a selection of distinctive varietals from Kenwood Vineyards.
The name Pininfarina has become synonymous with the pinnacle of quality, innovation and beauty. Since 1930 the Italian design, engineering and manufacturing firm has seduced the automotive industry with its contributions to Ferrari, Maserati, Lancia, and Alfa Romeo among others. Today, Pininfarina Extra applies its professional skills and talent in a wide range of sectors, with such partners as Jacuzzi, Motorola, Primatist, Snaidero, 3M and Aero Toy Store. Pininfarina Wine is one of the newest additions to Pininfarina’s long history of international market leaders.
In typical Italian style, and to further your wine sensory experience, we recommend a visit to the Up Valley Pavilion featuring delicious Heck Estates wines paired perfectly with Italian cuisine. Tickets are available by clicking here.
