Designer Leonardo Fioravanti
at 2010 Concorso Italiano
We are pleased to announce Leonardo Fioravanti as our special guest, and featured Designer at this year’s event to be held Aug 13.
Sig. Fioravanti worked at Pininfarina for over 24 years, rising to the position of CEO and General Manager. He designed more Ferraris than any other person. Many of his Ferraris are instantly recognized and include such legendary models as the Dino, Daytona, 308GTB, 308GTS, and the 288GTO.
Leonardo worked at Ferrari in 1987 and was the Project Director for the Ferrari F40. He was eventually appointed by the Commendatore to the position of Vice President and General Manager Ferrari GT Department. In addition to being the Project Director for the F40, he also designed numerous Lancias, Alfa Romeos, and Peugeots.
His company, Fioravanti Srl, collaborates with manufacturers such as Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Fiat, Lancia, Mercedes–Benz, Toyota–Lexus, and many more.
Sig,. Fioravanti will help us celebrate the reunion of the F40s at Concorso this year by providing onstage commentary. Leonardo will have many terrific stories about the development and launch of the F40. We may even have some surprise Fioravanti concepts cars for you to drool over.
This will be Sig. Leonardo Fioravanti’s first time to Monterey. He will be joined by his son, Luca Fioravanti who was at Concorso last year as part of the Fioravanti advance team.
